Aida Vallejo is a documentary film theory and practice professor at the University of the Basque Country (UPV / EHU). She is a specialist in creative documentary cinema and film festivals, areas in which she has worked as a critic, screenwriter, consultant, researcher, and teacher. Aida has co-edited the books Documentary Film Festivals Vol. 1 and Vol. 2 and Film Festivals and Anthropology and is part of the selection committees of the documentary forum in the San Sebastián International Film Festival and the Bilbao Human Rights Festival.
