She has a doctorate in Social History from the University of São Paulo (USP), where she also completed a post-doctorate program in cinema. She is currently an adjunct professor in the area of American History at the State University of Londrina (UEL). She investigates the transatlantic relations in the cinematographic field that involved Latin America and Europe in the 60s and 70s. She wrote the book O cinema Latinoamericano de Chris Marker (Alameda, 2016). She has published articles and chapters in various countries: Brazil, Chile, France, Argentina, Spain, and Portugal.
