David Jurado
Independent researcher, graduated from the Literature program from the Universidad de Guadalajara, Mexico, with a master’s degree in Cinematographic Studies from the University of Paris and a doctorate in Latin American Studies from the Sorbonne University. He has published articles on Latin American cinema. His first book, the product of his doctoral thesis, presents an analysis of the cinematographies that emerged from the political transitions in Argentina, Chile, and Mexico. Alteropoéticas del “yo” en el cine documental colombiano is his second book. He is currently under an IDARTES scholarship to carry out research on Colombian cinema and art.
