Guido Hendrikx (Holland)
Guido Hendrikx studied Liberal Arts and Sciences at Utrecht University and has extensive training in documentary directing at the Netherlands Film Academy. In his graduating year, he created the short film Among Us, which had its world premiere at IFFR 2015. The IDFA selected his feature-length documentary Stranger in Paradise, reflecting on the power relations between Europe and refugees, as the inaugural film in 2017. In addition to being a documentary director, Hendrikx works as editor-in-chief and documentary shorts selector at De Correspondent. His latest film A Man and a Camera has been screened at multiple festivals around the world and is part of the 23rd MIDBO’s official program.
