This transversal lecture takes the fragile hands and the cut hands, to reread their lines. Departing from the Latin American material in ‘Grin Without a Cat’, is traced a parallel that takes from the internal lava of the earth, the brightness of the image. It is a goddess full of magma, hopeful and at the same time frustrated: the lights of a film from 44 years ago that illuminate the cracks of the unfinished struggles that extend until today. This piece is possibly an invitation to bring oneself to the red current of air, to die with film and be born again each time we start the film. As a gesture of trust and love, dying with the images as a vital vocation to be reborn and to continue walking.
