Piracy and cinephile nest in a local of downtown in Bogota, where all types of clients go searching for movies. Fernando Cruz is in front of this business and spends long hours of his life immersed in testing, watching, and offering DVD copies. From his broad empirical experience and his relation with fringes circuits, unregulated and popular from the film market, he shares his tastes and his conception of what he considers “art cinema.” He also reflects on his lifestyle, labor, and motivation in an audiovisual sketch that permits a discussion about circulation and popular appropriation, the consumption of cinema, and his relation with life.
