A mother awaits for her son, restless and in silence. Magola’s son was murdered by the State forces. Her other child, the director of the documentary, could not attend his burial. This short film is presented as a way of processing endless mourning, but also as a tribute to a mother and her grief, a form of exorcizing part of the pain through the images and sounds. Rain, water, and the river mark the passing of time in an infinite wait because the absent son and brother will never return home again.
